Reach More Parents and Cherry ClassGood afternoon,
We hope all our families are well.
We firstly wanted to send an update about communication. During this half term we have been utilising different platforms as we have moved across more so to Reach More Parents and given parents time to make the move and become more familiar. From Monday 24th February, we will only be utilising the Reach More Parents app. We have had an 80% uptake to date and now feel this is enough to move forward with this platform. We will also be introducing online forms through Reach More Parents after this date, so it will be a one stop shop, alongside Parent Pay to make payments. If you require any support with registering on the app, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Bennell in the office.
As we are now approaching the Spring, we will be utilising the outdoor space outside Cherry Class more often. Teachers will be starting to set this provision up after half term and therefore ask that when parents and carers drop off children for Cherry Class after half term, they utilise the same main door as Rowan Class. Parents and carers with prams will still be able to go through the provision to get to the main playground area. Rowan Class and Oak Class will continue to use their respective doors.
Thank you for all your help and support over the half term and we wish you a restful half term break.
Kind regards,
Hinchliffe Mill School Office - 14 Feb 2025

Open Book Evening - Wednesday 12th FebruaryGood afternoon,
We hope all our families are well.
We wanted to send a little reminder about Open Book Evening next week on Wednesday 12th February from 3:20pm - 4:30pm. This allows parents and carers to have the opportunity to look at their child's work and also have any informal discussions with class teachers about their child and discuss progress they are making. We will have an open door into classrooms during these times.
Due to directed time that teachers have during the year, we unfortunately cannot extend the timing of this and it will need to conclude at 4:30pm.
We look forward to seeing those who can make it and sharing some of the wonderful work that the children are producing.
We wish you an enjoyable weekend.
Kind regards,
Hinchliffe Mill School Office
